Mariela was the calming and amazing cure to my anxious bride energy. She was incredibly attentive to detail and kept me on schedule, giving me step by step timelines on what I needed to do by when. She was so knowledgeable on all of the vendors in the area, and gave me choices that made sense. As I work in a creative field myself Mariela took notes of my personal style and we worked so well together – she GOT me and the vibe I was looking for. She thought outside the box with me, and made sure all my not-so-ordinary bride ideas were met with excitement and executed with taste. Her contacts from the hilarious lovable priest to the Vegas style dancers dripping in diamonds made our evening at the Versace Mansion something no one in attendance will ever forget. Many comments from our wedding were “best night of my life,” “no offense to other weddings but, best night ever.” Mariela made this not only the best wedding ever, but the best PARTY ever – which was all I wanted.

As an organized working mom with an eye for detail, I never considered a wedding planner – that would have been a big mistake. When my daughter, who lives out of state, became engaged, we immediately turned into wedding planning mode and within a few short weeks we secured our vendor, photographer, and entertainment with flowers to follow. However, friends who had recently been involved planning weddings encouraged me that a wedding planner would allow me to be fully present at my daughter’s wedding, and boy were they right. My daughter interviewed several candidates, and chose Mariela – what a smart decision. After meeting with her, we realized that yes, we were organized, but there were details we never considered which made everything run more smoothly. Mariela is professional, organized and flexible. Her calming personality made the days leading up to the wedding so enjoyable. It was such a luxury to not have a single concern on the day of the wedding allowing me to soak in every wonderful moment. Thank you, Mariela, for making our October wedding positively perfect!

We knew we wanted a destination wedding in Florida but we did not know how we would start our planning. Mariela made it all seemed so seamlessly easy. She knew the right vendors and the right contacts and was always willing to assist. She was so easy and pleasant to work with. Her patience and wisdom helped us beyond measure. Every vendor spoke so highly of her assuring us that we had one of the best planners. Our experience has proven that they were all dead on correct. She is hands down the best of the best. Having a planner like Mariela was worth every penny and it made our wedding planning experience stress free and our wedding one of the best that most of our guest had ever attended. We love her and would highly recommend her services.

It was such a pleasure to work with Mariela. I knew since our first phone call that I had found my wedding planner. Not only is she professional, organized, always available whenever you need her, but she has the most beautiful personality that calms you down. Forget 5 stars, 15/10 recommend! Remember when you were young, you had just moved to a new city and it was your first day of school? You and your family had prepared all summer for it, buying clothes and miscellaneous school items. But nothing could really prepare you for that first initial day? Queue Mariela! Except you’re an adult and it’s now your wedding! She helped us prepare in ways we had no idea we needed to prepare! She connected every single dot, helped arrange all the vendors seamlessly (apparently there was an issue with our florist, but guess what?! I never even knew! She handled it perfectly and silently!) She also set up our timeline for the day and made sure my entire bridal party, including myself and all the parents, knew exactly where to go, at what time, and what they would be doing and saying! She helped to explain the different ways things could be done and why, which helps tailor weddings to how the bride/groom want their special day to go down in history as the best day of their lives! Not only did she help prior to the big day, but on the day of, she was there every step of the way! If I didn’t know where I was supposed to be or what I was supposed to be doing at that moment, all I had to do was look in her direction, and she was right there, smiling, guiding us, holding my shoes, spreading out my train, or telling my girls to pose in a certain way for a photo that would look best! A wedding without someone with Mariela’s exceptional skill and experience is definitely missing a certain glue that helps keep things together, and also keeps the night moving without any road bumps! 15/10 recommend hiring Mariela! And don’t wait until the last moment… if you want a smooth, care-free wedding, she is all you need!

Mariela was an absolute godsend! She came very highly recommended by The Biltomore Coral Gables Hotel and exceeded all my expectations. Mariela is organized, efficient, an excellent communicator and one of the most professional people I had the pleasure of working with. She helped us have a smooth wedding day and troubleshooted any problems that arose with ease. She helped us plan things we hadn’t even considered and avoided pitfalls. I don’t know how I could have planned our special day without her services. I highly recommend Mariela as a wedding coordinator. Her contacts, experience, compassion and all around awesome work ethics make her hands down the best!!!!
